    FAMO und Tiefladeanhänger

    Evening.

I've been holding off on this as I didn't want to mess it up but the time has come to give it a shot.

Inspired by this picture, though I'm planning a slightly less regular load...

I'm also going to try my hardest not to overdo the wear & tear and go for a bit of light patina. We shall see.

Anyway, I've made a gentle start.

    Hi Dan
Big and impressive and being Tamiya should fit well without any unnecessary complications.
    Looking forward to it.

Looking forward to this Dan! I love FAMOs and your build has got me thinking of doing another; I have a couple already built and will finish the dioramas eventually! Are you basing your build on that excellent photo?

Hey Steve. Yeah, going to use a lot of what's going on in that pic, but the payload won't be a yawny old tank.

As in Deutschland Uber Alice ?

/ I think I'd better get on with some modelling a bit sharp-ish.

Mini update. I've been painting the track-wheel tyres (not my fave pastime) and started a bit of dirt & dust on the chassis & front tyres,

No rust or caked on filth for this one.
