Paul just caught up on the build - magnificent work.
And you say it is to 1/144 scale.....
Seriously well done on all the details and agreed with the tie downs, the second lot look more in scale...
    Cheers
    Mike.

Cheers Michael I can't even see 144 let alone work on it :smiling: . I agree about the tie downs, I have also re done the battery tray and I am a lot happier with it.

Very nice Mr. Scottie.....is that a square drive below the battery tray, for a "crank" start handle?

Just a quick up date a few more parts built and they along with the engine have received a coat of black. The frame sides have also been cleaned up this took a lot of work as there was a heavy seam line around both sides. They too had a pre shade. There is no photo at the moment but I have added some missing detail to the sidecar drive gearbox and scribed a line showing the separate parts of the gearbox not shown on the casting.

I will move on to another part of the build as I am now waiting for some aluminium paint to arrive for the engine and gearbox.

Coming on a treat Scottie. Once you get going on this level of detailing it's hard to know when to stop.
