Welcome guys, JR has been all over the Hobnobs so there might not be very many left. Last time I saw him he was stuffing his gob with both hands while balancing his coffee mug on his forehead!! :tongue-out3:

Well this build is moving right along (like watching grass grow)....last minute change to the hose reel cabinet, reel will stay exposed with forward section closed in. Formed a door handle up out of .010 brass rod, still needs hinges. I knocked out a dash and punched in some holes for the gauges...must do the shift and E-brake levers and find a suitable steering wheel. Click image for larger version

Such neat work it's hard to believe how tiny this scale is.

Got to agree with Andy, the scale belies the detail cracking work.

'ere we go again, making better progress on this than I expected. Got the wheel and levers in place, located and installed a grab rail as well as widening the running boards and installing safety tread. Scrounged around in the junk box and came up with a soft top that nearly fit! still some minor mods on it but sat on for a look see. Click image for larger version

Been plugging along on this....starting to finally morph into what I had imagined it should look like. I found myself so inspired by Scotties efforts on the "Pink Panther" Land Rover that I just had to try and scratch build a 1-87 scale Tail pipe clamp........if you squint real hard you might be able to see it in this first photo. Nothing is glued into its final position. Once I have completely fabricated and fit it all together then it will be paint time!Click image for larger version

Thanks Lee, getting close....just need to install the wipers and hitch, fab up some windshield glass and it will be ready to go to the paint shop. Glad you made it to the party!
