Thank You One and All!! I'm not sure when the paint will fly but I'll keep you posted as to progress Thanks again for all the support and kind remarks. :thumb2:
Hi all, paint is now on and there is some touching up to do. I ended up masking off the interior as the sponge method wasn't cutting it, so it took longer than I expected......worth the wait though. after this dries good I'll hit it with some gloss and get the decals on. Still plenty to do, but getting closer.
Very nice Bro!!! Looking the part now for sure with a coat on. It must be hell, to shoot a coat of paint on that takes about 2-3 minutes, and then have to clean the AB for 20 minutes afterwards. Just my 2 Pfennings, but I would build 20 kits and then paint them all together to make the cleaning worthwhile Rick!!!......Surfboards in stock yet???...Thought so, and I'll get me coat buddy!!!..............
Wowser's Rick, just read this from page 1 to here!! I was amazed when I saw the scale of the thing. Fantastic work putting this together. The lengths you guys go to is phenomenal. Brilliant.
Hi Allen, no boards yet but we'll see. Oh, and it only takes me a few minutes to clean the A/B.........I only use enamels and I just blow Lacquer thinner through it till it runs clear, block the tip and back flush it, then run it for a minute to dry out the internals and put it away. Piece 'O cake.
Stick around Doug, after this is completed I will have to start on the figures required for the dio. I mentioned to Lee in the previous post. Glad you're liking it so far.
