Very nice builds. Aren't those PAK 50mm ammo boxes? I think 10.5cm IeFH 18/40 were two part ammo. crated.

I’d think this would be an emergency thing only. The Sd.Kfz. 10 was a 1-tonne halftrack, meaning a pulling power of one tonne (cross-country). The 10,5 cm le.F.H. 18/40 weighed just under two tonnes, so it would have been doable but not easily. Still, if the enemy is approaching and all you’ve got is a one-tonne halftrack, you’ll use it to tow that two-tonne howitzer.

Thanks for your kind support gents :thumb2:

So as was mentioned, the 5cm ammo boxes on the fenders were incorrect for the gun as I had decided to swop it.

As the boxes had been mounted on to photo etch pieces, they came off quite easily….just had to use a little CA remover to clean it all up.

            Unfortunately it left bare plastic….

Nice fix, it doesn’t look like it’s visible at all that you removed parts there.
