Very nice builds. Aren't those PAK 50mm ammo boxes? I think 10.5cm IeFH 18/40 were two part ammo. crated.

I’d think this would be an emergency thing only. The Sd.Kfz. 10 was a 1-tonne halftrack, meaning a pulling power of one tonne (cross-country). The 10,5 cm le.F.H. 18/40 weighed just under two tonnes, so it would have been doable but not easily. Still, if the enemy is approaching and all you’ve got is a one-tonne halftrack, you’ll use it to tow that two-tonne howitzer.Comment

Thanks for your kind support gents :thumb2:
So as was mentioned, the 5cm ammo boxes on the fenders were incorrect for the gun as I had decided to swop it.
As the boxes had been mounted on to photo etch pieces, they came off quite easily….just had to use a little CA remover to clean it all up.
Unfortunately it left bare plastic….
Broke out the airbrush and Mr surfacer black primer, followed up with Tamiya German grey.
Also started painting up the tools and other bits. Still plenty to do :smiling4:Comment
