    Hot Rod

Hi all, just finished this little monster, bit fiddly in places but I was in no rush so took it sure and steady. I must say I like doing these mechanical kits, with the help from elastic bands the wheels turn and the pistons go up and down, not that I'll be doing that much but it's there anyhow, hence the key in the pictures, it also had 280 pieces so at least I didn't need to paint anything and nothing broke although you do get some spares, I progressing nicely for a change, no anxious melt downs, this is now model number 8 with a few more in the cupboard, is it me or are prices from outside the UK getting more expensive.

Very nice, Mark and something away from the norm too.

    I like it!

          Hi Mark
I do like that. 280 pieces so quite complex. Very unusual.

The next models I have to do have more parts, ranging from 430 to 630 so a bit more patience and skill involved, so should keep me busy.
The models to do consist of two cars, one a roadster styled like a Morgan and the other a twenties style racing car styled like FIAT / Alfa Romeo, an old fashioned American style truck and an old steam locomotive, I like them because they do actually work as well.

Got some more to do yet, they all have a bit of a twist, some are like steam punk whilst others have a bit of retro to them, I like to build or make things a little different and have fallen for these kits, fun to build and they actually work via different modes of mechanism.
