    A Wall......

Trying to get back to some sense of normality, I've just had a go at making a rather old and rustic red brick stretcher bond wall section.

I've used thin polystyrene, on which I've used a sharp pencil, a steel rule, and varied the shades using children's acrylics. I've let the paint gather on the brick faces to simulate the clay bake.

I've included a figure to see what you think of the brickwork scale size.

Any thoughts folks?.....or can I go into production!

Cheers all, and onwards and upwards into 2018!

Looks good to me Ron. I use a similar technique with foam board and once bricks are painted I mix buff acrylic with filler and brush it on as a sludge wash then once you wipe it off you should have all the joints grouted.
