John is advertising Tamiya side cutters (74123 I think) I can heartily recommend them, I've had a pair for over eight years now and there's no drop in performance - truly excellent bits of kit!

I've got a pair of them. They must be about 15 years old now and still working fine. -
The trend these days is the type where only one jaw closes
Looks like these Tamiya cutters are of this type
Those that squeeze rather than cut are less effective and compress rather than sever.
