Base better than the model !

I built this some time ago for a dio but lost interest , I've used it to practice alu metalcote as I've got an EE lightning I want to do

thats a superb base.......i think its cos the hunter-killer is bland in comparison, being just the one colour, but theres nothing wrong with the HK

I agree with that Paul it is a dull feature to it , im after the HK tank it's a lot of dosh though

Nice paint job on the base, I agree it is because the model is so plain the base stands out.

It happens to me one time...I started a figure time ago, and the base looks very nice (almost to my eyes), I cannot said the same on the figure.

I don't know that the base is better than the model, but it's a mighty fine base

This is an old kit Barry and I wasn't trying to get it to look better I used it as practice for metalcote for when I build my 1/48 EE lightning


I agree the base looks better because of the bland look of the HK
