    Fancy glue's! Not for me.

I read on here a lot about all these fancy modelling glue's that people use and although I know its personal choice (fair enough) all I use is false nail glue from China! 3 bottles for £3 posted , it works as quick as superglue but its not brittle! A tiny bit from the brush and hard as nails within seconds. The only problem is it is so easy to glue your fingers to the parts if you use to much o_O

Nor me! The main adhesive in most nail glues is ethyl cyanoacrylate which is.....wait for it....Superglue. There's really no need to go all the way to China to get it cheaply

I mainly use a solvent based polystyrene cement to glue polystyrene as I build aircraft and it helps to deal with the seams, but when I need superglue I use superglue. I get mine from up the road at a local hardware store in small quantities as it does go off once opened. Much more convenient than China.

Nail glue may contain other 'cosmetic' chemicals which are not strictly necessary for building models

    Cheers
