Hey Andy, what I usually do is go through the scrap boxes and find some figures that may be suitable and cut and re-arrange them into the positions I want and fit them in where required.

Any gaps and or torn clothing or other carnage can be made up from some tissue paper moistened with a bit of water and white glue. Some examples of a few I've done if you don't mind

You can view them in their entirety just scan for "Forgotten Sacrifice" "Eye Deep In Hell" "Sent To Paradise" "Mein Komeraden" and "Flesh and Blood" in 'completed dioramas' forum.

Hope this helps a bit, plus it allows for you to use your own creativity with which there are no limitations and the sky's the limit, much better than depending on after-market stuff and you probably already have all you need in the junk heap and you own mind............Cheers an good hunting.............Jim

Any time Andy, I am at the moment starting on my diorama called "Horror" based on the carnage inflicted on the German army during their retreat through the Falaise gap.

There will be plenty of German casualties done up as realistically as I can make them. All will be scratch built from the spares boxes and I will do an in depth 'in progress' thread so all can follow along.

There will also be several dead and wounded horses also scratched up, I'm sure you will pick up some helpful hints and tips on how to make your own, keep an eye out for it as I will be putting up some very preliminary posts very soon..................Jim
