    Vallejo Plastic Putty Cracking

I need to get some new filler as mine is cracking! What is the best filler on the market?

There isn't one, it's horses for courses. I do like Deluxe Materials Perfect Plastic Putty though but not for everything. I also use green stuff, Tamiya and Vallejo and, of course Milliput ...... or is that where Gulliver traveled to???

Another vote for Perfect Plastic Putty, but I wish it didn't dry at the nozzle so easily. That being said, it is easy to get a great finish with. Also a shout out for Mr Surfacer 500 - great that you can apply it by brush, and it also sands really easily, but boy does it stink, really powerfull solvent stink. Brushes clean up well with nail polish remover!

I also use perfect plastic putty for small areas and milliput for larger areas.

Most fillers shrink. If you attempt to fill too large a gap with Vallejo plastic putty (or most others) it may crack. For large gaps use an epoxy, like Milliput, or mix your own using CA glue as a base.

                    Cheers

I saw it somewhere cant tell exactly but the idea u melt the extra plastic parts from your builds in cement then u use it as filler which will cost u less money and better finish.

Let me look up for the video ill repost here for u.
