    Glass crack

    Hello!


    I am not sure is this right topic but i found crack in my plane glass. Anyone can tell what is the smartest way to fix it ?


    ( Sorry for bad english )

    There is no 100% fix. If you know the kit maker you could ask for a replacement or source a aftermarket part. 


    You could glue the join but the crack would always be visible.

        One way around is to do it on the ground and add a tarpaulin over it, looks like a glass section for a gun, what plane is off?

          I've used G S Hypo cement to fix a canopy and the result was acceptable, but not perfect.


          I've seen it suggested that clear varnish can be used. but I couldn't make this work at all.

            This is 1:32 Revell Junkers Ju88 A-4's glass part. I try my best to fix it, i will update progress soon.

              Right, the rear section of the canopy. I have had a look and cannot find any aftermarket canopies for this model, doesn't mean there are not any, just I haven't been successful.

                id try using old formula Kleer to 'glue' it together.....then dip the whole thing in it
