plastic slurry... As in filler type thing? Make a load of shavings from the sprues and mix them into cellulose thinners until as thick as you need it. Use with caution...it melts plastic after all. lol
Yup, I want to use it as a filler as I haven't as yet found a filler that I really like.

I have seen some tut's on youtube where people have made slurry using acetone but my experiment on using Tesco nail polish remover didn't work. It melted the plastic slightly but no more, I suspect the Tesco stuff isn't pure enough for the job.

Anyone have any experience using acetone for this purpose?

One of the things I like to do is sculpt parts from spare plastic with a scalpel, I'm thinking slurry will suit this well.

Just about any liquid polystyrene cement will do, although if you start with one of the thicker ones, you'll have less control over the ultimate thickness of your mix.

Thanks Gern. Mixed some plastic shavings with some revell contacta and got a result I very much like.
