    Displaying a model.

Hi guys I'm want to display the model I'm. Working on, it needs to house the circuit boards, cables etc. What would you suggest?

It all depends on what size/type of model/diorama your trying to display Colin.

It's the enterprise E. 1:1400. I need to be able to get inside the unit and don't want a standard top opening box, I'd cry if I opened it and it just snapped back, the ship would be too heavy for a hinge.

You could do a box, with a panel on the front that is attached via small magnets-just pop the front or end off to get inside.

Or have a base but the box is fastened again via magnets, you just lift off and place to one side, make sure that any cable is long enough.

If you could magnetically levitate the model it would look awesome indeed.

Hadn't considered magnetic attachments or levitation. Lol. I don't like the idea of lifting it from the Base, there's too much cable already, but the pop off panel is a great idea. Thanks. Merry Christmas
