Possibly a daft question about modelling putty

    Hey guys,

I've used squadron green putty to fill a few gaps and I'm now ready for primer. I would like to wash the model before painting to get rid of fingerprint oils and putty dust.

My question is, can I get dried putty wet, or will this cause it to soften and fall out?

    Cheers

    B

Not a problem bob , the dried green.stuff is waterproof , it dries by evaporation of a solvent so water wont affect it. I always use water during sanding of filler the only thing im careful about is to make sure its totally dry after sanding before the primer goes on , cheers tony

      Nice one, cheers Tony.

I put it on last Sunday so should be dry by now.
