    5 second UV light glue

    Hi guys,

I wondered if anyone had any experience of this stuff:

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/SystemsEleven®TM-Welding-Compound-Repairs-goodchoice/dp/B01DOEC1HI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1518785737&sr=8-1&keywords=5+second+fix+glue&dpID=51g1Gvwn9kL&preS T=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

If it works it seems like it might be good for canopies or PE when CA glue isn't appropriate.

    Cheers,

    B'Cat

Hi, I’ve used the glue for no modelling jobs and it’s really good stuff but the glue has to be able to see the UV light. Face to face joining won’t allow the glue to go off. I hope that made some sense

      Cheers Steve.

I ended up ordering some, found the same stuff on Amazon for £3 with free P&P so it was worth a punt.

I had a quick test on some scrap styrene sheet and it seems to stick well. Going to try it for the canopy on my next aircraft build.
