I build, as you know, primarily in 1/32 scale and I have posted those...
Here are my 1/48 scale models. Some of these were my initial practise subjects when I got back into the hobby after a 30 year break including the Bf109, Spitfire 1 and Seafire. The others I built either just for a change or in most cases just to test new methods. Anyway, here they are and apologies for the photography....
Airfix Bf109E, my first build when I got back and my first weathering attempt.

then a couple of Tammy Spitties...

The Airfix Seafire - I love this camo scheme.

and a couple of others...

I also love 1/24 scale but space and the limited number of subjects means I have only built one that I could not resist - the 1/24 Tiffy

There are one or two more kits that I have built and need to find the photos, when I do I will post one of each of them.Comment

I have found two more
Italeri Hurricane 1/48

1/32 Revell JU88 - the first model I bought when I got back into this. I remember I did not enjoy the build thanks to some poor fit and engineering and ended up rushing the finish.

I still cannot find my pics of my 1/32 ZM Skyraider or my only 1/72 build of the Airfix Tiffy, I may not have photographed the latter as it was just a curiosity build!!!Comment

I strongly recommend using paint masks in that scale Paul - they just look so much better and I find them easier to do as well.

The mk1 Spitfire (wheels-up., motorised prop) you see in my gallery was painted using home made masks.Comment

My very first models (early teens) were muscle cars and dragsters (awfully done I'm sure) but after my stint in the service and once married and settled down I got into military vehicles
and never looked back.Comment

I’ve been building models for about (a bit over actually, I think) 35 years, and even though I still have nearly everything I’ve ever built, even broadly listing it all would make for a rather long message … Suffice to say that my very first model was a Matchbox 1:72nd scale F-5A Freedom Fighter, but it was mostly built for me by my father. My second model, and the first one I actually built myself, was the Matchbox Brewster Buffalo. The last one is an Asuka Sherman V with a Resicast engine and deep-wading trunks that’s still under construction.

There are some incredibly talented people around. Only started in the hobby just over 7 years ago so not up to the standard on show so far. Just a few of my favourites.
