So ive been building a tamiya 1/48 mosquito in costal comand ive been reaearching the aircraft and found that it belongs to the banaff strike wing and lookimg at refrencee photos they were sat in very grimy muddy stands in cold and wet scotish fields so i have weatherd the underside of the aircraft so im goner upload a photo see if you guys think it could be abit much or if it seems realistic

Wouldn’t the wheels throw up dirt and mud and stuff when the plane takes off and lands? Or would that be immediately wiped and washed away by ground crews? -
Other than WW2 prop planes, modern jets I believe operated from hard tarmacs to prevent muck build up and anything entering jet intakes. Russian jets would have mudguards as they operated from rough terrain like dirt roads.
