          Hi Jason

Only recently joined so missed the start of this. That really is very good indeed. His face is almost life-like. Very well done indeed.

Marvellous work Jason, just terrific. You've managed to make him looked tired, dirty and worn as he should be. Will be studying carefully.

Thanks all...very much appreciated...I have managed to sort out the problem with the MG34 ( for those that didn’t notice, I completely missed out the round “hinge?” That allows the bipod to fold back... it was one of those “oh no what have I done” moments.... as soon as the vast amounts of superglue dries I will get some paint on it and post a few “ finished” day light pictures.
              Thanks again
              Jason

sorry if it’s picture overload but I’m now calling this finished ( unless anyone spots any other glaring errors!)... it’s taken me long enough but I can now move onto something else with a clear conscience!!
Thanks for looking in and your encouragement over the months!!!!

B****y hell Jason he is good - really beautifully painted.
I have just posted on Peter's Tommy thread that you figure painters may be in a minority but your skills are something most of us can only dream of.

Very nice, particularly like the weathered helment.

                        Jason.
Absolutely brilliant work, those outside shots, esp with the chimney pots and the trees in the background the face looks real. Those eyes !

Many thanks Peter... the helmet was a bit of an experiments as I just kept on dabbing it with off white to get the look that I felt was right!

Thanks John...theres nowt but chimneys up ere tha knows!... worrying to think thats how it may have looked if the Wehrmacht had got as far as Lancashire!?

                            Thank again
