Using CMK resin kits. Any good?

    Afternoon

I have the CMK Stug resin kits, engine bay/engine and drivers area etc. Never used these before

Anybody used them? Any feedback would be appreciated

    Thanks bob

I used a CMK kit for my “Merry Christmas” LVTP-5 and also a few of their figures over the years, IIRC. No major problems that I recall — it’s not the world’s greatest resin manufacturer, but it’s also most certainly not of the standard* set by, say, AEF Designs.

Just remember to wash the resin in washing up liquid to remove the mould release agent. You may find you'll have to do a bit of thinning of the edges of the kit to get it to fit. Aries resin is notorious for this.

        Bob,
I do hope you're not sneaking in a few StuG builds before the group build starts..........

          Thanks Jakko and Al!

Now Dave thats a serious courtmartial offence!!!

No, of course not, still wondering what Stug from the tiny, tiny stash to attack i have both CMK Stug interiors kits so may be a Dragon G with full interior. Might also add a truck with crane taking the engine in/out. Off for a meal in the lovely Bourton on the water. More pondering to do lol
