    Cutting PE Metal

    Can someone advice me on the best tool to cut pe from the sprue, is very thin and I dont want to make it buckle.

      I do use a great deal of PE but use a spare old kitchen tile

        Agree with Alan and Bob. I would add that it’s worth covering the part with your finger while you do this or it may shoot off like shrapnel, never to be seen again

          If it's too small to hold under your finger, a bit of cellotape over the top of the part can help.

            Curved blade on a tile - push blade right up to the part and then roll the blade on the attachment point

                Dont forget to sand the part of the PE that will have glue on before cutting it from the sprue. Especially the smaller parts.
