      Hi John
Interesting. There are a few videos on YouTube. On one the rough finish was smoothed off with what looked like a flat headed soldering iron?

Dave It took a few hours to do, partly learning what to avoid. I guess about 50 foot of filament since my 800 foot reel has not gone down too much.

Hi Jim Yes it can be smoothed off but a perfect finish takes a long time.

Final experiments with my new toy.

Tried some extra smoothing on this one.

And finally this is probably the best use of 3D pens, for my grand daughter.

Wow, John that wabbit is by far the best thing I have seen produced with one of those pens

Usually the output is a small spidery blobby thing without any proper form to it

Is it hollow or partially filled in?

Looks like it has been knitted

I'm really impressed with your pen-sculptures John :thumb2: It's not something I plan to buy but you're doing a great job with it ; )
                Cheers, Steven

                  Hi John
You've certainly got the hang of your new toy. Your artistic ability shines through. Love the rabbit.

                    Thanks guys.

Simon it is hollow. it is formed around a sort of space frame built up like an internal scaffold then slowly filled in on the outside. The construction process is really a great challenge and a lot of fun.
