    Looking for recommendations

    Mornin Chaps,
I trust that you`re all keeping well in these odd times!
I`m very much a Vallejo / Tamiya user when it comes to paints,(with the odd Andrea set thrown in!),but i`m currently looking at a set from "Scale 75",i`m quite tempted, but wondered if any of you have used them before, and if so,your thoughts on them?
Any info would be greatly appreciated before i press the dreaded "Add to basket"!!
    Cheers,
    Andy

I’ve not tried them either but have seen good reviews on them. To be honest, I might be tempted if I hadn’t invested heavily in Vallejo. I will be very interested in hearing how you get on with them!
One thing to be aware of is that the bottles come sealed. You have to make your own hole in the dropped bottle nozzle. I’ve read horror (funny though) stories of people squeezing them until they explode because they didn’t know this.....

Buy just one or two when you also order something else, then try them to see how you like them?

Sorry for the delay in replying Guys........
I would have done so last night but i decided to praise me for working through this Lockdown,(The NHS are obviously doing a Superb job at the moment, and deserve all the Clapping and praise they get:thumb2: ),so i decided to make Fridays a "Clap for me night",and stood on my Doorstep fervently supporting myself...........,unfortunately i didn`t generate any support,(Yeah i know, unbelievable or what???:flushed,so it took a LOT longer than i had expected to reach the amount of self adoration i felt i needed!!
It was a tiring exercise i can tell you,but i`m here to reply now.......
Mr R,Thanks, and yes,i`m in much the same boat Sir ,
              Dave,New to you too eh?!:surprised:
AlanG,They do seem to be an oddity at the moment:rolling:,
Tim,I`m in much the same position, but sorely tempted to take a punt:anguished:,(Cracking little tale BTW!!)
Jakko,Yes,good idea.Although they do seem to prefer to sell in sets usually. They cover from Fantasy to Wacrcraft type stuff, the set that caught my eye was a "Wood and Leather effects" one. That did look very good......but a bit pricey:rolling:.
Thanks for all of your input Chaps,i appreciate it,
              Cheers,
              Andy
