Just checked the layout of the stars on the flag ...and the one in 1944 is completely different....it’s eight vertical lines of six stars each......so it looks like I will be doing them again!

Jason, he's looking good. Your painting skills have markedly improved and it shows. :thumb2:

        Cheers,

....my 14 year old son said “I thought you’d done it wrong but didn’t like to say!”

          Thanks

Now that's dedication - I'd have left them The bust is looking terrific Jason, beautifully painted.

Sorry to have caused you more work Jason. The bust is really stunning and I would'nt have wanted someone to have pointed it once finished.

                  Hi all
Just about calling this finished now... it was just a little too late to get decent pictures in daylight in my modelling room so I may try some more tomorrow...
Pictures in artificial light really accentuate some of the colours as you can see from the pics below...Click image for larger version

Anyway sorry about picture overload once again but there was am awful lot going on with this bust and I didn’t want to miss anything...Sadly the stash is pretty much depleted as things seem to take so long to arrive these days....Hopefully I will be making a start on something else soon...

That’s impressive, I’d be working under a microscope to even see detail that small.
