Anyhow... having seen the pictures I decided he wasn’t suitably tired and undernourished so I added a few grey shades and reddened under the eyes a little...

        Hi all
Just a quick update as I’m going away for a few days so there’s an enforced abscence from the bench... There’s still some detailing to do but the main shading on the body is about done... really hasn’t took that long to get this far which is a bit of a shame as I was really looking forward to working on this figure and it’s seems to be coming to an end so quickly... I still have to source a suitable plinth and then I can finish it off!

Ps ... anyone seen Greyhound on Apple TV, the new Tom Hanks convoy / U Boat movie? I was contemplating the 7 day free trial just to watch that?

                      Jason

Good job on the bust. He has a certain look about him that really suits the subject, I have seen Greyhound, and I have to say it is OK. It is rather short and has little story to it. The action is well done and the feel of convoy life seemed to be realistically portrayed. I'm not sure if it is worth a subscription on its own.

Absolutely incredible Jason. Have seen Greyhound and quite enjoyed it. I'm sure rivet counters will highlight issues, but seemed realistic to an uneducated eye. More of a suspense film than a war film, but I was hooked throughout.

Top draw work again Jason. The redness around the eyes is a stroke of genius.
