    Paint storage rack.

I spent a bit of time today making up a rack to tidy up my paint and pigment collection, I know it's not a large amount but it was getting a pain with the stuff lying about and getting knocked over. I know you can buy them but I had some hardboard and 10mm square stripwood so I gave it a go.

I know it's not pretty like the shop bought items but it does the job for a lot less money, if I remember correctly the materials cost me about £8 albeit a while ago but I have enough left to make another one. It holds 42 pots and a handful of brushes, not sure if this post is in the right place but I am sure a Mod will tell me and make me write out a hundred lines.

    Andy.

Yes, they are in numerical order as it seemed the logical thing to do.

I used to use a small fishing tackle box, worked fine until a few tins of enamel exploded.........

I still use one of those old plastic paint storage boxes that are not dissimilar to fishing tackle boxes....

                        Nice one Andy,looks good :thumb2: !!
I made my own too a couple years back, different style though.
It`s quite satisfying once you`ve finished with a paint, pop it back in it`s designated place, and think "I made that"!!
