      Another cheap and simple trick to getting superglue to set more quickly is to breathe on it: it sets because of a chemical reaction with water, so if you supply it with additional moisture from your breath, it will set more quickly.

        Yes. That certainly works too but doesn't give that quick 'grab' you might need attaching an antenna wire or similar.

            I've replied to Bob about the UV glue but I thought I would just drop in my two penn'orth on activator.
            At work we rarely use the atomiser as it can affect the paint and 'bloom' the clear acrylic.
            We decant it into a dropper bottle like this- much more controllable and economical.

                True, it works well if the part already sticks in position (or you can press it there) but the glue isn’t setting as fast as you want. If the part doesn’t want to stay, it’s not much help
