Hi Mark, the canvas tarp was a discard from a Ford 3 tonner that was used for another build. The joys of leftovers! Just a slight bit of filing to get it to fit properly.....my measurements were off a few thousandths of an inch. The bed was supposed to be the same dimensions as the one for the Ford......my bad. Glad you like it. Rick H.

Man I love close up photography!! I'll be taking care of that "glaring" joint where I spliced the bed back together after shortening it. Amazing what shows up when you get the wet stuff on! Rick H.

Hi Paul, actually these are in between, a standard 3 ton wheel is .425 in dia. and a MB. 4500 (4.5 ton) is .467 dia....these are .437 dia. difference is .012 or a scale 1" not enough to worry about and the added bonus of the proper wheel type as opposed to trying to come up with a viable alternative? I'll play this hand.
