Hi Andrew. Yep, the armour was about five passes of various related colours. Took around four to five hours all told. Glad you like it though.

Those “test” figures look really good Mark. The shading and highlights on the drapery is excellent. Well worth finishing now!

Thanks guys, haven't done any highlights yet just a thin see through based colour over grey primer then a few washes to darken them up.really enjoying experimenting, total see what people get out of painting figures:thumb2:

I know this is all sorts of wrong on many levels but what the hey ?

Screwed the 88mm bogies on for convenience and then it kind of went from there...

Looks good to me. Prime movers were easy targets and not too plentiful, so whatever came to hand was used.

As has been said: if the usual vehicle isn’t available for some reason, you’d hook that valuable gun up to anything that can tow it if it needs to move ASAP. It might be an unusual combination, but well within the Sd.Kfz. 7’s capability, certainly on a road.

I agree nothing wrong, any thing that would pull that weight would have been used. Nice lighting in the photo Dan.

Hey Rick, it's great to be flying high again...It'll reach the spray booth because I am about to order a new one. The old cardboard box isn't cutting it anymore! It's done the same here as anywhere else Buddy. I had to make a few scratchies for it so I can finally get it together without going too crazy,

The kit ones are way too thick for the Hetzer. I'll post a pic before she hits the booth next week when I get the new one. I've been on a spending spree too because the show in Holland, in October, has been cancelled again...................I'm having terrible Friul withdrawal symptoms!!!...............But found a cure.....................

Dude 1 .This talk of a spending spree oh dear , good job you've just installed that new shelving. I new there was an motive behind this :smiling3:

As to the matt, well was new, at one point !:smiling3: but as we do I tried to keep it clean and for cutting on only, so used an old mat , not as big , to actually paint on.As you can see it doesn't work.

Andrew, Allen, Thanks, it's a Dragon Panzer IV 70 from the 90's early 2000's.
Good to see you back at the bench.
John Race with a tidy (empty) bench? Whatever next?
