Sure Pete, you are correct. I worded that badly. We can buy them, but studded winter tyres are illegal for use on road in the UK.

Studs are illegal in many states here as they tore up the roads. Sure worked good on ice though.

Not much done here, progressing slowly.

I dont think these are quite up to my usual standards, but my hands have been a bit stiff recently and that doesn’t help….still, progress is progress….

As always any comments, questions etc are welcome…..

Thanks Paul. Best thing about the plastic figures is that they are almost infinitely variable so no two are the same….

                        Good evening Gentlemen,
I`m in a position at the moment where i`ve become SO intensely sapped of mojo for my usual stuff,(the recent Vietnam Dioramas have taken most of my modelling time this year, and i needed a slight break! ), that i`ve been doing a few, small, and different subjects,on a makeshift table downstairs from my "War Room"!!
So here are my 2 "Transport" WIPs.....

A Russian WW2 era Cart, which i`ll use on my mini Dio with the Staff car i`m doing there. Also, some rudimentary paint going down on the interior for my Triumph Herald... the masking of the upper body may look excessive:thinking:..... and it probably is!!:tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy:
Next,a 1/72nd,(VERY OLD),Airfix Arado float plane...... I`m SURE i must`ve done this one way back when..... and this Box looks like it might be of the same era!!!.....

Nice variety there. Herald looks to be going together well. Never made an Airfix car in my youth, they didn’t have enough guns for me……
Built the Arado as a kid though, but can’t remember anything about it at all, apart from it had floats…..yours looks good.
