Tim, we can never get bored looking at these little fuglies. You do some incredible things and achieve outstanding results with these tiny figs. I still think the ghosts were just fantastic and the best yet!!!
I love the way you paint the facial expressions on the fuglies too. Your detailing is first rate Sir!!!
Prost

It really is as easy as I say Mark. The end effect is all smoke and mirrors.....the secret is getting the dilution of the paint correct.....thicker for dry brush work and thinner for blends and detail. Just push some paint around and try it....Comment

I really don't think I could do as good a job as you on something that small but I do keep looking at my display cabinet an thinking hmm maybe there!Comment

Just try it Mark. I’m a technician, not an artist. Get the technique right and you’ll get the results you are after.....you might even enjoy itComment

Hi all
Not updated anything for a while, so here are the latest from my bench. To me, they do not compare with the great work on show here, and you guys are probably getting as bored with seeing them as I am with painting them......but here are more pug uglies, this time with arrow shooting things.....

..and the obligatory calibration shot....

Cheers all, hope they are of some passing interest!

I do game occasionally, Covid permitting! These are being put together to try the “Oathmark” set of rules. I have a WW2 collection that is used for “Chain of command” and a fantasy skirmish set that will be used for “Frostgrave“ very soon. I have dabbled in quite a few periods and games over the years, but as my regular gaming mate doesn’t paint I have to provide both sides and the terrain! The trouble is I sometimes get bored and move on so I’ve a lot of part finished groups! Now I’ve got a room where I can see them all it may spur me on to get other groups up to gaming….Comment

Here's the latest on the Borgward B 3000 conversion. Really pleased with the way the louvers came out on the hood side panels and the replacement grill work is pretty convincing as well. Still have that seam line on the bed....even after sanding and repainting, I think the wash has re-enhanced it. Still a ways to go on this........more later. Rick H.Comment
