That looks very good. I take it you masked and sprayed it as shown in the last picture? Did you add the black lines with a fine brush?

They have to go to another doctor to treat them after they’ve seen it? :tongue-out:

I thought it was insane at the time as well :smiling5: However once I got a method in my head on how to do it I enjoyed the challenge. Manythanks for the comment

Going for the borrowed/nicked German version then. Good choice. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Yes you are correct about the masks. I just drew the shapes onto Tamiya tape and cut them out with a sharp knife. The fun bit was trying to get them to all to interlock. I took the easy option Jakko and used an acrylic fine pointed Sharpie pen. Once covered in varnish I'm hoping it will withstand my weathering.

I'm not into figures but I very much like to paint something like that one day, interesting subjects :thumb2:
Do they come with the bases or did you made these yourself? Have fun painting, cheers

This is how they come, Steven, made up and glued to bases. I cut them off, 'add' to the original base, then put pins up the feet to mount them securely back on top.

Both of these are 28mm North Star multipart plastic figures. They are made from a mix and match set of parts, giving many variations on a basic theme. The only addition I’ve made out of the box is the arrow on the archer. He looked weird without one so I added one from suitably sized brass pin wire.

As always, any questions fire away…..

Tim - mould lines (!) What tools do you use for their removal?
