    0.4mm plastic (round) rod

Trying to find 0.4mm plastic round rod. I'll need it for the Brassin BMW 801 build which, after looking at the instructions. Is a mini kit in itself.

    Any ideas guys?

          Just a thought,
but if metal would work too then perhaps a guitar string might be a quick solution if a music store is closeby (B string, seller would know which brand has 0.4mm)

I have wire already but it bends to easily and leaves a 'kink' in it. Found the Plastruct rod and will probably order that. Thanks guys

              Alan,

Try solder wire - fuse wire (3 amp)? That should bend without a kink.

If you’re still thinking of wire, go for brass or nickel silver straight wire. Easy to work with and takes crisp bends with no associated kinks or dents. It’s stocked by companies like “Eileen’s emporium”.

Please Note......I believe Platstruct is an ABS material and requires a different type adhesive to get it to stick together. Rick H.
