Hi, decided finally to scratch the safety railings than to get PE ones.

    And the results look okay.
I know its been a while and just had to pick this up with the local ship GB creeping up. One of the participants will be driving down from Penang so will take it up to the eventual owner. He said it wasn't necessary for PE or rigging but I can't just leave it alone.

    Cheers,
    Richard

Chris, perhaps better when I've done the whole railing and rigging.

        Cheers,
        Richard

As you can probably work out I like to build as much as I can befor I even start the paint process. Its just knowing where and when to stop. lol.

Got to love (or hate) Bronco kits. Regardless of how many parts there are on my bench built up, there are still almost as many still on the sprues!
A lot of them Microscopically small! Also some typical Bronco PE madness with Injection moulded wing-nuts and PE tie downs- 3mm total length and needs four bends..... thats a hard pass from me. lol

          Cheers.

Looking good Ian. I’ve got sprue holders, by the way. They are the boxes the kits come in :tongue-out3:

So I've started the first builds of my 'The Hunters and the Hunted' collection with these two Bf109 G-6s from the Nachtjager Wilde Sau unit JG300.

Full build thread to follow at some point!

Same I put the box, with the lid open, to my left and leave the sprues in it, then just rummage through to find the one I need. This doesn’t work with those end-opening boxes Revell insists on using, though, so if/when I build a Revell kit, I usually put the sprues into a box from a previous kit instead.

I never thought about buying a sprue rack just made one myself from a few scraps of wood and an offcut from a plastic wall cladding panel.

That is also what I normally do too. It's just sometimes they tend to spread out on the bench .

I could have done that too Andy, but added one to the shopping cart to get free postage. Guess I'm a lazy old Git............................

Just wrap some tape around the short length , and mark the No on it , seems to work ok for me .

What a horrible "fate" for those poor Cribbage boards..........been a player since I was 11 years old. I hope they are dual purpose and not just relegated to the role of painted bits holder!
