The plan has to be to make inroads into the stash, especially my B-17 project.

I reckon I've finally broken the habits of my working life! I don't feel guilty staying in bed, I treat the weekends just as weekdays, and if I don't finish something - so what! So laid back - I'll be horizontal!

I've a couple more bits i want to add to the stash then thats it I'll be dead before the stash runs out ,any monies I would have spent on plastic will now be invested in modeling tools and photo etch for stuff in the stash.
I'll try hard to do a wingy thing to see what all the fuss is plus maybe a little water line ship ,yes a little one to tight to pay for the big ones have seen some nice little resin ACW pieces.
We all know the above statement is a load of dogs have them (as is a lot of member statements above)so sue me see if I care. Dave

            In brief:

            Finish my Spanish Galleon.
Fit a new floor to our sitting room.
            Ship in a bottle.
Set of 12 vintage Revell classic cars.
            1981 Williams F1 car.

While knocking these off, I'm learning about (non-military) diorama. It's brand new to me, but I've done enough ships and want to branch out.

            Should take me to 2027.

I'm with Dave. I'm at the age where I don't plan, I'm spontaneous! Luckily, my week is 6 Saturdays and a Sunday, so plenty of room for that nonsense.

If I am pushed to state a plan, it's to go to sleep, safely wake up and still be able to open the curtains.

Oh, model making? No plans. I'll be happy to still be able to build something, anything, through 2022...and with a bit of luck, beyond.

                1. Zouke M 1/32 P-51 Mustang (keeps winking at me)
                2. 1/24 Airfix Spitfire (When it gets here)

                That's it!

I need to rebuild my stash....quickly!

That Mustang is a nice kit. Just take care test fitting as the tolerances are really tight.

I always have a plan but GB's and spontaneous impulses have scuppered them. I'm used to deadlines at work but will give myself a lot of leeway if I'm to enjoy my hobby. Kudos to those who stick to their plan and I envy the amount of kits they complete in a year.

                    This years plan:
                    1. Finish USS Constipation
                    2. Totally complete Pacific Diorama
                    3. Revive North Africa build
                    4. Revive Church block dio
                    5. Continue with my Kure Harbour dio (most likely as it coincides with a GB)
                    6. Complete my Jungle dio
                    7. Finish a Fletcher destroyer for a GB
                    8. I want to start on a Manchester

Some of the above are doable... fingers crossed.:smiling2:

                    Cheers,
                    Richard

I do not have much in the way of builds for the coming year.

However, I do have a 1/72 Airfix Tiger on the workbench at this moment, no idea how this is going to turn out as it is rather small for my disability.

I also have my 1/16 RC M41 wiring to complete, then I can run it at our clubs open days.

                        Barry,
Did you ever do a review on this Mustang?
It was your review on the ZM 'Nick' that made be get it...Best kit I think I've built along side the Tamiya Spitfire.

                            Spend less. Build more.

I have an ICM Dornier do-17z to finish.
Italeri 1/48 Wessex for a Falklands GB at model club.
Have a go at 1/35 armour.
Airfix 1/24 Hellcat and try out painted on markings for the first time.
                            Revamp my work bench.

And a whole load more pipe dreams.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

Update to my plans: build something straightforward, that doesn’t turn out to require much more work than initially thought and has no unexpected difficulties in painting
