    Next build

For once I am looking at what my next build will be after the potze.
I have decided on the Sd.Kfz 7/2 Flak38. Given your great knowledge is the Trumpeter or Dragon offering better.

Dragon for me - went together easier! No scooby doo on accuracy or amount of rivets etc - just 'felt' better!

I’d go for Trumpeter. I built the Dragon Sd.Kfz. 7 artillery tractor version and found it to be less than stellar, detail-wise. That’s to say, it was all very fine and well-moulded, but lots of details of the cab and load bed were simply wrong. Of course, a lot of that “wrong” was that they were Sd.Kfz. 7/1 or /2 parts that shouldn’t be on the artillery tractor, but it’s made me distrust the Dragon kits in this respect. A lot of the corrections I made, were based on Trumpeter’s instructions, so I decided that when I get round to building a /2 or the V2 launch control vehicle, I’ll buy theirs.
