Has absolutely no interest at all in this kit, despite loving Tamiya and having a series of 1/48 jet builds to do, including the F14 and F4B.
Indeed even if it was brought out in 1/32 I simply would not be interested. Now, a 32 scale Spey Phantom, I would get it immediately
Also if they produced a 48 scale F15, F8, Typhoon or Tornado I would snap it up.
But not the F35, not even if they produce the F35B I would have no interest. Whatever the scale.
There is just something about these stealth fighters that’s so, well, boring. All those straight angles uggh…. You can keep them. Give me the sexy curves of a 4th generation fighter any day or the aggressive pugnacious stance of a 3rd gen aircraft.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not a F35 knocker, these are great aircraft but they just have no sex appeal at all and I have no interest in a model of one.
