The good part there is that you can fix it fairly easily by pulling the track around until the break is behind the mudguard.

Unfortunately, the mudguard is already hiding the initial, and very untidy, join.

Ignis Art 1/10th (how they get that scale on a fantasy figure i dont know) Borowy. He has been air brushed to apply the colour graduations, using Scale75 Artist Tube Acrylics. On to adding highlights on the leaves on the trees at the back, bit more glazing and touching up areas were the airbrush has missed. then fixing his eyes.

That will make it a lot harder, yes … Pull the ends together with thread and stick some mud on it?

It will have to be something like that. Probably buried into a base, but not exactly what I had planned initially.

I haven't posted anything for a while, been busy 3D printing stuff for people. but my latest project is a model for a local architect, for which I have created a digital model from their 2D plans with a view to 3D printing most of it.
Here's the digital model-the scale is 1-60 to fit on a plinth they already have.

and here's the sample I made of a small section, to test the brick pattern and get their approval of the colours.

A few tweaks required but we're good to go with the whole thing now. It will have lights so I've got to sort out the gaps around the window frames.
Incidentally , my airbrush died so it's all sprayed with rattle cans! They like it so I'm going with that for the finished article

Hi Neil, nice stuff. I have a question as this has happened the second time seeing it. The other is from my kitchen designers drawings. Are the images in perspective or is this the norm for 3D drawings, the vanishing point seems to come at you and not away into the horizon. I thought it was very Dali like...distorted. Even the base is on a slope...is there a slope?

                      Baffled,

                        thanks Richard.
The images are not in perspective, just a sort of isometric- you can rotate the image any which way, without any optical illusion - that's only in done in renderings-ie 'artist's impressions' like this

And yes there IS a slope, and the building doesn't go all the way through it when I made these images, but it does now:smiling4:. How VERY observant of you!
You can see the 'artist' didn't bother to take the garden walls down to the ground either :tears-of-joy:

                          Hi all,

This is what I'm working on at the moment, it's a Warhammer Leman Russ tank ( I've got 3 Tamiya kits to do after this one ) It's only my second modelling attempt after many, many years of not modelling.

I'm enjoying building and painting it but at the same time I'm not enjoying it, it's hard to explain. I've made some tarps for it after watching numerous YouTube videos, I'm really pleased with how they came out, I forgot to photograph them though.

                          Regards, Chris.

                            Hi all,

Did a bit more work on the Leman Russ tank over the past couple of days.

First time using weathering pigments, I might have gone a bit over the top though :smiling3:

When it comes to making a tank dirty, there’s no such things as going over the top

                                Hi all,

Did a bit more today, I attached the bulldozer blade and the tarps that I had previously made ( first attempt at tarp making )

In hindsight maybe I should have painted them in a more contrasting colour so that they show up more.

                                Regards, Chris.
