    3D decals

Just a quick question. I have bought some 3D decal seatbelts for a 1/72 Spitfire. Can I use decal softeners, Micro Set/Sol, on these? Any tips on using these decals would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Decal softeners arent really needed jim , the ones I used benefitted from being raised . The only thing is that they need to be stuck on with something , kristal kleer or suchlike as they dont have any adhesive once theyve come off the backing paper

No - they are not really decals in a true sense. The only thing in common with decals is in being carried on paper being released by water.

You remove any detail from the plastic part and stick the 3D part with a pva or c.a. glue

Thanks. I would have wondered why they weren't sticking :rolling:
