Tracks are good for when waiting for paint/adhesives to dry. Pick it up & set it aside.

I assume you mean the indy link tracks for the Tiger? That's a good idea actually - thanks! :thumb2:

I was planning on building up in a few sections (Bottoms, ends and top) so that I could remove it all and then paint them - I bought some slow setting glue for the process. I'll give it a go, and I'm sure I'll be okay once I get my head around it, it's just getting over that brick wall. I do need to finish the sticky back Zimmerit as well (just the turret to finish).

Looks good Arnold. Seriously impressed by the set of MASH DVDs on the shelf though. One of my favourite series. Currently rewatching it every day when I have breakfast. Rather have it without the laughter track though, as I remember it from Beeb two back in the day.

You can join The Tidy Bench Club (TBC). A very prestigious club. Many have applied for membership but few have been admitted. Our standards are very high and despite trying all manner of underhand ploys including bribery, threats and even the offer of loose women we remain true to our standards.

Thanks Tim. Oh you can't beat a bit of M*A*S*H :smiling: - a truly fabulous comedy drama. I have all the series - I got one for each birthday & xmas for about five years! Watched them to death. I could do without the canned laugher too though, never been a fan of that.

LOL!!!! I'm honoured to be part of such a prestigious club - I can't work in a mess. I'd probably even get the loose women to clean for me lol!

With some of my stash above...

Current build (a hopefully mojo restoring OBB basic build) is an old Tamiya Late production Sherman. (The wingtip tanks are for a PM models F-5A)

A couple of stalled builds - A Tamiya Tiger 1 (The indy tracks scare the crap out of me) and Airfix's K2/Y Ambulance.

I also have some winged things on the go...

And this F-5A, on a pile of other kits awaiting my possible Iranian Air Force project.

When not working in my room, I do have one of these little Humbrol workstation things, for when I'm sat out in the garden or in the kitchen etc. It's quite useful.

Well that's all from my bench for a mo - I need to go and feed the Scutters.

About 25 years ago, I guess, there was a channel here in the Netherlands that broadcast one episode fairly late every weekday night. When they got to the very last episode, they would just start again with the very first the next evening My brother and I must have seen every episode at least twice that way, and most three times.

I know its a fair bit off but looking ahead, I'm undecided what to build out of my stash. Two very different builds.

A mate of mine asked me to recreate something like this:

He gave me these donor vehicles:

First job was to add the extra wheels:

Then I built the basic structure:

A bit of trimming here & there once it's all dry and I'll be ready to add some detail.
