Had a shit run in recent weeks ,93 year mum in law fell breaking ribs punctured lung so went up north a bit quick (notts Derby border midlands?up north where I come from) stayed with sister in law(spinster thats how I like to refer to her) the first hospital was half hour each way then they moved her and that was a hour each way ,any way caught some covid type thing so with mum in law looking like she was going to make it and feeling really ill came home and left the missus up there ,any way things got worse couldn't lay down without having to jump up because I couldn't breath ended up in hospital had my moneys work MRI CT SCAN CHEST AND LUNGS XRAYED ULTRA SOUND ON MY HEART all ok told if it wasn't for the arthritis I should be running marathons so with all vitals in full working order got sent home? Ended sleeping best i could sat up down stairs on the settee, mean time daughter and boy friend got hit head on by some twat coming around a bend too fast on wrong side of road although badly shaken both were OK mean time chest got worse any way managed to get a doctors appointment lovely doctor was very concerned told me not to worry she'd get to the bottom of it gave me a through check up and decided I had a very bad chest type infection ,strange because never even had a cough or anything still taking the antibiotics and she phones every day for a progress report still sleeps sat up down stairs but can at least now breath in without having to labour just to breath in so fingers crossed the course of treatment is starting to the effect.

Thanks guys beginning to feel like the medication is getting hold of the situation ,missus still away at her mums but last night did manage a whole night if somewhat fretful in my own bed. Modeling almost exclusively in 72nd I cant get over the size of them as I said like house bricks ,not going to say it'll be nice to work on something diffrent but I'll call it intresting lots of things I want to try out to see if I can scale them down to 72nd. Still in financial shock at the amount of paint I've had to squirt at them. Dave

Ahhh! the fun of the SWMBO being away, meals on your lap in front of the telly, feet up on the coffee table, socks not changed for a week, let one go when you feel like it and no complaints, tv remote at hand nad not in her control - BUT you can tidy up and wash all the dishes, take a shave, and you can bet she will walk in, sniff the air and the first words will be "Where's the cat????"
Pleased the chest is getting better - hoovering should help with that :smiling6:
