    Hi everyone
I haven’t posted for a while but I thought I should share this little build - the 1/48 Eduard Sopwith Camel.
I’ve motorized the prop and will mount the model on a simple stand with the battery and switch.

It’s not finished yet but is nearing completion…

I start the rigging tomorrow and I think it will be challenging as this is pretty small. I have no idea how this is done in 1/72!

    Cheers
    Paul

Looking great Paul.Love the look of biplanes but all that rigging puts me off always.

I try and draw the line at plumbing lol, it scares me :tears-of-joy:

When I fitted our kitchen a few years back I had a nightmare to sort out behind the sink. Years of bodged additions got chopped out and I had:
        • Hot & cold for the mixer tap
        • Waste disposal
        • Dishwasher
        • H&C feed to the adjacent utility room
        • H&C feed to adjacent shower room
        • Outside tap

It took two days of thinking, ended up looking like spaghetti junction, and put me in hospital with a stress related flare up of my diverticulitis

        Never again :smiling5:
Ah! the joys of DIY and Motoring.....

Coming soon, I'll be butchering these two kits:

I haven't fully settled on the design yet but I'm aiming for some kind of extended chassis 6x6 overlander, with an expedition trailer.

Two hard tops might have made life easier but John only had one of each in stock at the time, so I'll work with what I have. Although to be honest the kits are so cheap that I may even get another :smiling3:

You will need plenty of filler for the top of the wing where it meets the headlight (part #23B & 24B)...

Thanks for the heads up Mike. With me chopping it about I'm guessing that won't be the only place :smiling5:

Cheers Doug. I must confess I shamelessly plagiarised the idea of setting it in a fish tin…..glad you liked my attempt :thumb2:

I don't want to start a blog just yet in case the removal men lose it, so here are a few pics of my Land Rover build, mocked up with blutack.

The only 6 wheel rovers I have seen were the tactical airfield fire wagons. TACAR's I think they were called.
What colour scheme you having for this one Andy or haven't you thought about it yet?
