    All hail Lucy :)

A shout out to my wife Lucy who got made redundant this week after 20 years, and bought me a kit I have wanted for a long time but just couldn't justify the cost. She ordered the Caldercraft 1/72 HMS Victory, looking forward to starting this build will be a long one :smiling3:

      Wow! what a present!
She really deserves more than just a shout out... I suggest a standing ovation (even if my avatar is a sheep ) or three rounds of wave at Wembley!
Looking forward to your build (I read somewhere that it requires 2500 hours at the bench).

I did some research and I was lead to believe 3000 hrs or 2-3 hours a day = 4years

What a great present. What a wonderful wife. I built the much smaller, much easier, far less complicated cross section a couple of years ago and that took not far short of 12 months.
          I'll enjoy following your build.

Well that should keep you off the streets for a while. You sure Lucy isn't doing this just to keep you busy and out of her hair while she gets on with the more important stuff?

Yep, she's a keeper, alright. It definitely makes things easier in this Sport when our better half supports us. Ruck On, Bby!
Give Blood, Play Rugby, cause everyone knows football is for whimps!

I saw a yt video of this model - boy! have you got some work to do and I was not commenting on the quality, which I gathered from the video was top drawer quality.
