Poor man's painting turntable

I've been meaning to make or buy a turntable for a while. I was down in the bin room of our office block the other day and found what I assume was a rotary spice rack. I forgot to take a picture but it looked a bit like this one.

After a bit of chopping, gluing and painting I now have a perfectly useful turntable.

Good thinking that man! You can also get the turntables that cake makers use - they're only about £5 on ebay.

Modeler through and through...like most of us we keep stuff for ever and a day...well, it may just come in handy. Then we see something and the light bulb not only comes on but explodes! Superb idea and great recycling Bob.

interesting Ron,once I looked for these,s on evilbay and a lot more than £5.49 or 10.00 over hear,
so did you type turn table, or what,as I find has so much to do with wording to what comes up as cheap,or not,

Great idea a Bob. I have a box full in my garage if odds and sods o pick up and like eddiesolo says the lightbulb will come on one day abd he presto!!
