Folks,
I have been dabbling in the black arts of Zimmerit recently, and i have come up with a formula for zimmerit that is both easy to make and good looking for german tanks.
Get some tan acrylic craft paint..
Mix it with flour..
Mush it into a paste with your hands..
Work it until it is stiff..
Break off a small piece...
wet one finger...
spread it thinly on the model...
Make the pattern with a flathead screwdriver.
I tried the putty method, I tried the photo-etch method, i tried the hot screwdriver method, and none of them made the desired appearance.
This is simple enough an american (like me) could pull it off. :smile11:
Hope this helps!
