Hi all,
Not posted in quite a while but have quietly lurked and followed along. I came across this and thought it was something to share. Like many I have a large number of paints and frustrated with the laser cut type shelves or racks there are available and then voila, the perfect solution. The IKEA Alex drawer unit with a little tinkering.

Fits snuggly under the desk and the casters can be left off if you don't have enough head room

Drawers before adding 27mm angled trim. Comes in 2.4m lengths and from one length enough to fit out one drawer.

Measured up and little profiled blocks stuck to the drawer bottom and then glued up for the 600 trim. Once down, they don't shift.

Only fit four as the drawer stops only travel the drawer out so far which is ok as the space behind is used for overflow

Perfect fit for all paint types and easily readable when opening. Also keeps them dust free and away from UV

Off to fill out the remaining two drawers with Model Color and some Tamiya
