I'm unsure if this is the correct place to submit this topic, so I'll take my chances and if it does not appear then I'll know I was mistaken. :fool:
Recently, when I decided to take the plunge and invest in an airbrush, I quickly realized that I would also be needing a place to paint, too. Of course, I scoped out the internet and found some paint booths for sale, but all were a bit too pricey for a beginner. After all, what if I did not enjoy airbrushing? Then I'd be out some major bucks (something to the tune of 300 bucks-U.S.).
Reality quickly revealed itself and I was forced to consider other options. I made the decision to build rather than buy. For about 1/3 the going price, I purchased all I would need from my local hardware store. In less than 2 weekend days, I had constructed what follows.
No, it's not pretty, but it is functional and works rather well. Oh, and I really enjoy the convenience that comes from having that surge protector mounted on the unit; it allows both compressor and interior light to be controlled from one switch.
Just thought I'd share and perhaps give an idea or two to others who are new to this hobby as I am. Cheers!
