    Paint Advice! Sherman!

Hey everyone! If anyone has seen my other post with the models I will be building, I am buying more for a big war scene I will be making sometime in the future when I have completed my other ones!!

I need an opinion. I will be doing Sherman Tanks and just picked up the first one today:

Sherman M4 MK1 Tank (A01303) Model Kit and Accessories by Airfix

I will be using Tamiya Acrylics since I prefer them and they are much much much easier to obtain in my area (just down the road!). The Light Olive Green of the tank, which would be similar to Tamiya? Here are the paints

    Humbrol

    The Official Humbrol Website

    Tamiya

    Tamiya Color - Acrylic Paint

    I was thinking XF-62 OR XF-67.

Also what is a good Tamiya rust?

    Thanks!!

Of those 2 I'd say XF-62 is nearer Olive drab. As for rust use something like Tamiya XF 64 with some rust pigments on top (once dry).

    Hope this helps
